WIM DE VILDER

Wim De Vilder is a prime time news anchor for Belgium’s largest television network, the public broadcaster VRT (Vlaamse Radio en Televisie).
He has more than 20 years of experience in live presenting and moderating for a large audience  of over one million people daily.
He presents prime time news broadcasts and interviews politicians, captains of industry and scientists on a daily basis.

Wim De Vilder also hosts national and international conferences and events, for public and private organisations.
Among his clients are large multinationals, Belgian profit and non profit organisations, universities, occasionaly the royal family.

In 2020, Wim hosted several hybrid events, with a limited amount of speakers on site and interaction with viewers online. He has experience with several audience interaction tools, e.g slido.

For more than 20 years, Wim De Vilder has been a trainer for public speaking and interview skills.

Wim has a background in law, communication science and journalism. He speaks English, French and Dutch fluently, and has also studied German and Spanish. He is based in Belgium, near Brussels.

• French: fluent since high school (in Brussels) and furthermore advanced diploma in French, 'Talencentrum Universiteit Gent'
• English: fluent since high school (in Brussels) and several stays in UK, Ireland and USA
• German: fluent, advanced diploma 'Centrum Levende Talen Leuven' and stay of 1 semester in Julius Maximilian Universität in Würzburg, Germany
• Spanish: intermediate (spoken and written), advanced Summer course in Colegio de Estudios Hispanicos in Salamanca, Spain
